Products
For denim and materials I use brands such as Tulip this gives me a good choice of colour range.
Fabric Paints are formulated exclusively for fabrics, drying with a soft, ultra-flexible bond so they won’t crack or crumble with movement.
For Leather paint work I use Angelus paint and products which are often voted the top rated leather paint for all leather projects from shoes and jackets to sofa restoration.

After care
Washing painted items can be scary after you have spent your hard earned money on your new master piece. There are a few ways to wash your product in order to protect your painting and keep it looking perfect!
SPOT-CLEAN: Spot cleaning is the most ideal method to protect your painting. This method is useful for cleaning stains or dirty spots when the rest of it is clean enough to go without a full wash. Use a wet cloth with detergent to scrub the spot that needs cleaning and rinse with cold or warm water.

MACHINE-WASH: This is my least advised option, but if your product require that machine wash, turn your jacket inside-out and wash on the delicate cycle. It is a bit riskier to machine wash your painted item and can cause your painting to get damaged. I only recommend using this option if your denim item needs a good wash.
Use a small amount of mild detergent, Do not use bleach, softeners, stain removers, or any alcohol-based cleaner. Alcohol of any kind will destroy the painting. |
DRYING: I do not recomend using the tumble dryer, if you chose to ensure you do so on the lowest heat posible. My advise is to air dry on the line
WARNING: Although most of my customers have had no issues using there washing machines and tumble dryers. I recomend caution, Washers and dryers vary – some may be more harsh than others.
